SEEDS Asia conducted the seventh session for our MOFA project, “Enhancing Comprehensive School Safety in Collaboration with Community in Hinthada Township.” The session was a rich two days focused on learning about the disaster history of the dike from the Department of Irrigation, and a Search & Rescue training with guidance from the fire department. Participants learned numerous practical skills useful in emergencies, such as how to extinguish fires, construct tube wells, conduct life-saving in water, and knot ropes for rescue and relief.
