Trial stay in the shelter as survival training! [Myanmar]
From 10 to 11 January, the Nabekone Village Disaster Management Committe members and SEEDS Asia staff in Myanmar had a trial stay in shelter with emergecy bag only as a survival training. By having this experience, the VDMC members could learn how to prepare better in terms of materials, food and Non-food items (NFI), room allocation plan, the need of rules & regulations for utilising school as shelter. The lessons learnt from this training will be incorporated into evacuation plan of the village!
