On March 16, SEEDS Asia conducted a joint media briefing on our new project in partnership with the Myanmar Engineering Society on “Enhancing Comprehensive School Safety in collaboration with Community in Hinthada Township,” funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. We were delighted to see attendance from nearly ten major news outlets, as we also conducted basic DRR training for members of the media to promote understanding of DRR concepts and hazard vulnerability profile of Myanmar.
