One of the expected outputs of the Project with Tamba City is to create pioneering models of DRR Education at designated schools. On August 21, one of the schools, Sakiyama E.S. conducted the “DRR Commute” and “DRR Map Making” after the voluntary cleaning activity by the students and their guardians. They walked together to check up their commuting route, paying attention to different findings to mark down on their maps. The results will be further discussed during the teachers’ meeting on August 22 to determine how to utilize those findings in DRR classes.
