Town Watching by Community [Bangladesh]
July 28, DRR leaders in one of our model communities, Monipuripara society, conducted a town watching. Monipuripara society has strategically conducted bock-wise town watching in the community’s 13 blocks as they included it in their action plans. Monsoon season has begun in Dhaka and water-logging is causing pain to our daily life. Through this town watching, Monipuripara society identified weak walls on the roadside, holes on the street, and particular areas with more serious water-logging within the community.
