Disaster Response MTG, Safety Inspection [Philippines]
SEEDS Asia conducted Introductory meetings for Disaster Response Manual on February 6th at Carcar Central Elementary School, Pilot school in the Department of Education (DepEd) Carcar City, and on 7th at Pakanaan National High School, Pilot school in the DepEd Mandaue City. Teachers of the Pilot schools, DepEd Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Coordinator, Cebu Provincial DRRM Office, Local Government Offices DRRM Office, Office of the Building Official, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Community participated. Stakeholders and Pilot schools presented their expectations and commitments regarding this Disaster Response Manual crafting. a Safety inspection at Carcar Central Elementary School, We also conducted a Safety inspection at Pakanaan National High School on the same day.
