Deep appreciation to all who are supporting flash appeal [Myanmar]
SEEDS Asia Myanmar office has been coordinating with Relief and Resettlement Department in Laputta and Township Education Office of Ministry of Education. We received the list of 170 students who were affected by the recent fire. Most of them lost everything, and requirement is to support every kids. Thanking to the well-wishers MES (Myanmar Engineering Society), friends and collegues, we could collect 4,148,000ks(=3,320USD around) as total just for today! Our “school kits” i…ncludes: School uniform, school bag, a dozen of pencils with sharpner, eraser, compass sets (above 5th grade) and we will arrange 170 sets. Though we still wait for some more well-wishers to purchase one more set of uniform for each student as only one uniform is not enough for them. Deep appreciation to all who are supporting this process and we will deliver the goods and your kindness to Laputta…!!!!
