On 12 September, a DRR class at Kesennuma Elementary School started. In the first class, the president of Kesennuma Voluntary Organization for DRM was invited as a lecturer. He gave a lecture to students on how to make DRR map. Unfortunately, a town-watching activity that had been planned to conduct in the second class on 13 September, next day of the first class, was postponed to 16 September due to heavy rain.
