round-table on community-based disaster risk reduction [Tohoku/Japan]
On 7 October, a round-table on community-based disaster risk reduction (CBDRR) was conducted at Kujo Elementary School in Kesennuma city. Teachers, community leaders and fire companies in the school districts, and city officials in the risk management department were participated. SEEDS Asia also participated in and provided a lecture “Community-based DRR with the linkage of schools”.
