DRR Summit in Nango [Tohoku/Japan]
On 11 October, DRR Summit in Nango was held at Jonan Junior High School. A training on fire-fighting and an evacuation drill with wheelchairs were included in the event of the Summit. Students heard actual disaster response of the disabled in the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami from staff of the Center for Life Support of The Disabled in Kesennuma. After that the students discussed on DRR for the disabled in the city.
