On June 19, an EARTH (Emergency And Rescue Team by school staff in Hyogo) member who has visited Cebu in the Philippines conducted a class on a foreign language that integrates DRR concerns. He witnessed SEEDS Asia’s and the Philippine Department of Education’s initiative in integrating DRR into various lessons, and got inspired to conduct his own class where the communication skills and awareness on DRR will be nurtured among his students.
