Awarded the JICA President Commendation! [Japan]
We are delighted to share with you the wonderful news that SEEDS Asia has been awarded the 16th JICA President Commendation in recognition of its work in the Asia Pacific Region! The awarding ceremony took place online on 15th October, 2020.
SEEDS Asia is grateful to JICA Kansai for nominating us, and to all who have supported and guided us over the years. The award has provided a boost for us to become more responsive to the challenges of increasing risk of severer and more frequent disasters around the world. Both this opportunity of being recognized by JICA and the emerging disaster risks, make us more determined to work towards disaster preparedness and implement the concept of “Build Back Better” together with individuals and communities. Join us in this path towards resiliency!
