Let us introduce a youth club in Ward 17 in Dhaka North City! Aeon Buddies is a youth club that was formed to protect youths from drugs. They have worked with SEEDS Asia since last year and leader of the club has proactively interacted with other DRR communities in the city. This year, in order to scale up their DRR activities, Aeon Buddies had tried to involve adults in their locality and establish a society as they learned from the other DRR communities. Leaders in the area, observing the works done by Aeon Buddies and being influenced by them, decided to form a society to make the area better place to live and extend their help to the young ones. The leaders also attended a opening ceremony of emergency number boards that Aeon Buddies made for the community on November 15 and congratulated for their work.
