Increasing number of fire incidents is a big problem in Dhaka. Slums are more vulnerable and they experience fires every year and hundreds of houses are burned down. Aiming to increase DRR capacity of people in the vulnerable area, SEEDS Asia has provided training to youths in collaboration with BRAC University. Today, the youth participants conducted a town watching activity to better understand disaster risks in their residence. DRR community leaders we worked with in our previous project also joined the training as resource persons.
