DRR class at the Model Academy [Bangladesh]
The Model Academy in Dhaka, as the partner school of SEEDS Asia’s project on disaster risk reduction to enhance community’s resilience to disasters, conducted its first disaster risk reduction class for its students on 20th January.
Despite the challenges of conducting online classes, teachers managed to deliver this lesson for the students’ future, and students were actively engaged in their learning by asking questions and presenting their own opinions in front of others.
It was indeed a great opportunity to plant “seeds” of knowledge, and it is hoped that the students will share their learning with their friends, family, and the larger community.
