Continued efforts of safety inspection at school [Philippines]
On 19th May, SEEDS Asia received a message by the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Coordinator of Lapu-lapu Division Office, Philippines Department of Education, that they are conducting safety inspection at Marigondon National High School in their division. SEEDS Asia’s project supported by JICA in Cebu Province had ended in mid-2020 without formal good-byes due to restrictions amid COVID-19, but this great news in 2021 made us so proud of the fact that schools are continuing their own initiatives to make their campuses safer, utilizing the awareness and skills conveyed from us to the local schools during the project.
