DRR awareness video to be released soon! [Bangladesh]
The production of a DRR awareness video for students is now in the final stage. The video covers four key themes related to fire, air pollution, infectious diseases, and weather disturbances. The story in the video revolves around four characters who discuss the potential for disasters that they see. They visit experts to acquire knowledge and put the learning into actions to reduce disaster risks.
Interestingly, the role of experts in the video was played by actual experts such as fire station officers, professors, officers of meteorological department, and doctors with whom SEEDS Asia had worked with (instead of professional actors/actresses). The experts willingly cooperated with us for the video by opening up their offices for the shooting, acting for the video, and giving advice, in order to raise DRR awareness among children and citizens.
The video shooting has been successfully completed and is in the process of being edited. We are eagerly waiting to view the final product!
