We, SEEDS Asia express our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives due to the earthquake and tsunami originating in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture. Additionally, we sincerely offer our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the disaster.

The recent calamity has caused severe damage to many individuals, putting the learning and hopeful future of children at risk. Recognizing this, the certified non-profit organization SEEDS Asia is initiating an emergency support program to overcome these challenges and prevent high school students from abandoning their education and aspirations.

【Support Initiatives】

1. Uniforms, Bags, Shoes:
   Many high school students lost essential items during evacuation, resulting in a shortage of uniforms, bags, and shoes necessary for school attendance. By providing these items, we aim to reduce obstacles to commuting and prevent them from giving up on their education.
2. Stationery and Learning Tools:
   Adequate stationery and learning tools, including communication devices, are essential for continuing education. We will supply the necessary stationery to high school students in the affected areas, supporting their learning environments. Continuing education is the first step in building hope for the future.
3. Provision of Study Spaces for Exam-Prep Students:
   High school students preparing for crucial exams, such as high school and university entrance exams, require a focused study environment. By offering a stable learning environment, we aim to support them in maintaining their commitment to learning and hope.

【Why Support High School Students? To protect learning and hope from the impact of disasters】

High school students in disaster-affected areas face numerous challenges during evacuation. To ensure they do not abandon learning and hope due to the disaster, we are committed to providing support. Children are the future pillars of their communities and industries. Supporting high school students in continuing their education without giving up hope is an investment in connecting communities to the future.　However, High school students fall outside the jurisdiction of the city, making administrative support less accessible.

【Utilization of Donations】
